Nick Clegg vows to push for 'wealth tax'

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has insisted the coalition will not make further spending cuts "on the backs of the poor".

Speaking to the Andrew Marr Show, the deputy prime minister said he would not agree to more savings unless some form of "wealth tax" was agreed to by the Conservatives.

His comments came as Lib Dems gathered in Brighton for their annual conference.
