April Jones: Fears grow for missing girl, 5

Police are treating the disappearance of a five-year-old girl in mid Wales as an abduction.

April Jones was playing with friends near her home in Machynlleth but was seen getting into a grey coloured van at about 19:30 BST on Monday.

Hundreds of volunteers have spent the night searching the area for her.

Det Ch Supt Simon Powell of Dyfed-Powys Police said officers were "becoming increasingly concerned for her safety".

Jon Brain reports.

Officers have urged anyone with any information relating to April's disappearance to call Dyfed Powys Police on 0300 2000 333.
