Police: April Jones family 'devastated' by abduction
Police investigating the abduction of five-year-old girl April Jones in mid Wales say her family are "devastated".
She was with friends near her Machynlleth home when she got into a van at 19:00 BST on Monday.
At a news conference, Det Supt Reg Bevan read a statement from April's family but refused to be drawn on the identity of a man arrested earlier on Tuesday, named locally as Mark Bridger.
His colleague, Supt Ian John thanked the public for their help and asked them to assist again on Wednesday if possible.
