Sir Jimmy Savile named in Jersey abuse inquiry
The lead investigator into abuse at the Haut de la Garenne care home in Jersey told BBC Radio 5 live that he believed Sir Jimmy Savile was involved in it.
Speaking to Tony Livesey, Lenny Harper said he believed the victims who came forward at the time of the investigation in 2008 to say they had been assaulted by Savile.
Scotland Yard say the DJ and TV presenter, who died in 2011, may have abused as many as 25 victims over 40 years.
Eight criminal allegations have been formally recorded: two of rape and six of indecent assault. Some of the alleged victims were as young as 13.
