Florida vote confirms Obama win

Four days after the US election further results have widened Barack Obama's margin of victory.

It was so close in Florida that it has taken quite a while to count the votes, but he has finally won in the Sunshine State.

That makes his victory in the electoral college system fairly decisive topping challenger Mitt Romney in final tally by 332 to 206.

In his first weekly address since the election, Mr Obama said a tax increase for the rich must be part of any budget bargain.
