Floods in UK: More than 800 homes flooded as storms hit

More than 800 homes have been flooded after storms hit parts of England and Wales, the Environment Agency has said.

It confirmed that 816 houses have been affected after a band of heavy rain and strong winds swept across the country.

Across the south west of England more heavy rain is expected, as Jon Kay reports.
