Duchess of Cambridge hoax call nurse death a 'tragedy'

The death of a nurse who took a hoax call about the Duchess of Cambridge was a "tragedy", the chief executive of the Australian radio station behind it has said.

Rhys Holleran, CEO of the company that owns Sydney radio station 2Day FM, said DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian were "deeply shocked" by the death of Jacintha Saldanha, 46.

He also said that the radio presenters would not comment at this point and that their show "would not return until further notice". The pair posed as the Queen and Prince Charles in a call on Tuesday morning.
