Will the flooding of 2012 continue in 2013?

The Environment Agency has issued hundreds of flood alerts and more than 100 flood warnings across England and Wales and Scotland.

In one area of Cornwall - Helston - police have evacuated some residents from their homes because of rising water levels.

Several major rail routes are still suffering severe delays and more heavy rain is forecast throughout the day.
