UK floods: Exeter railway tracks protected by dam

Flooding problems in Devon are continuing after the River Exe burst its banks.

Railway engineers are working alongside the emergency services to try and prevent water reaching a vital signal box on the Paddington to Penzance line at Exeter.

Network Rail is in the process of replacing one dam it set up at Cowley Bridge, which has itself been flooded.

Andrew Plant reports from there, where he says the tracks have been "bent and twisted" amid the waters.
