'Jimmy Savile groomed a nation', police say

The Met Commander leading the Jimmy Savile abuse probe has said the late DJ "groomed a nation".

A report published on Friday, detailed 50 years of allegations recorded across 28 police forces, with Savile's victims ranging from eight to 43-years-old.

Commander Peter Spindler told the BBC's David Sillito: "We will learn the lessons and make sure victims in the future have a voice."
