What is our fascination with model toys?

Toy and model enthusiasts are gathering in London over the next few days, to showcase their collections at the Model Engineering Exhibition.

Trains sets, remote-controlled aeroplanes and models built with plastic bricks all feature at the show, where more than 1,000 models will be on display.
