Armstrong former rival: Drug cheat 'tarnished the sport'

One of Lance Armstrong's former cycling rivals has given his reaction after the 41-year-old told Oprah Winfrey he had used performance-enhancing drugs during all seven of his Tour de France wins.

Dan Lloyd also competed in the 2010 Tour and told BBC News that Armstrong had not apologised enough, and that "having lied for so many years... however much he starts apologising, it's not enough to make up for what he's done".

Lloyd said that Armstrong had tarnished the sport and it would be hard for current riders to prove they were clean.
