Dog rescued after cliff fall

A dog has survived a fall from an 80ft (25m) cliff in Devon.

Tom, a German shorthaired pointer, was rescued by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) on Monday from a rocky ledge at the foot of cliffs at North Hallsands.

He suffered several broken bones but is expected to make a full recovery.
