Bexleyheath stabbing 'a truly shocking event'
A 32-year-old psychiatric patient has been found guilty of murdering a woman with a butcher's knife in a busy street.
Nicola Edgington, 32, from Greenwich, murdered 58-year-old Sally Hodkin and attempted to kill another woman at Bexleyheath, in south east London, 18 months ago.
Detective Chief Inspector Graeme Gwyn told the BBC's Mike Sergeant that the fatal stabbing was ''a truly shocking event'' and paid tribute to the victim's family.
