Disability Living Allowance changes 'attack our independence'

Campaigners are claiming that changes to benefits for people with disabilities could result in real hardship for some.

The Disability Living Allowance will be phased out from April and replaced by a new benefit called Personal Independence Payments.

The government says the current system is out-of-date and is not reaching those who need it most.
