PCC chief Ann Barnes defends Paris Brown over tweets

The police chief who hired the UK's first youth police and crime commissioner has defended her decision.

Kent's police and crime commissioner Ann Barnes said the tweets posted by the 17-year old were "rude and offensive" but that the teenager would keep her job.

Paris Brown posted a string of offensive comments on Twitter before she was given the £15,000 a year job to improve relations between Kent police and young people.
