The return of the afternoon tea

The British love affair with tea shows no sign of ending, with more than 160m cups drunk every day - and a resurgence in the popularity of afternoon tea.

The owner of an award-winning tea shop in Cheshire says she thinks period dramas are partly the reason why fine china, small sandwiches and dainty baking have found a new audience.
