Calls to abolish Scotland's corroboration rule

Corroboration - the idea that all key evidence presented in a criminal prosecution has to be backed by two sources - has been at the heart of Scotland's legal system for centuries.

The Scottish government now wants to abolish corroboration, but some fear the move could lead to miscarriages of justice.
