Thatcher funeral: 'She was a great national leader'

Crowds have lined the streets of London to pay their respects to Baroness Thatcher.

The former prime minister's union jack-draped coffin was taken by hearse from the Palace of Westminster to the Church of St Clement Danes - the Central Church of the Royal Air Force - on the Strand.

The coffin was then transferred to a gun carriage drawn by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and taken in procession from St Clement Danes to St Paul's Cathedral, for the funeral service.

Some of those who gathered at Parliament Square explained why they felt compelled to come.
