Cameron: UK has paid a 'high price' in Afghanistan
Speaking after the deaths of three British soldiers in Afghanistan, David Cameron said the "latest casualties are a reminder of the high price that we've paid as a country to help give this country a chance of safety and security in the future".
The soldiers were from the Royal Highland Fusiliers, the 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Six other soldiers were injured in the bomb blast on Tuesday.
Mr Cameron said, "Our future is bound up in this because, of course, Afghanistan was a haven for terror and terrorism which threatened us directly."
