Somalia conference: We can make progress, says UK PM
British Prime Minister David Cameron and the Somali president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, are co-hosting a conference in London on the future of Somalia.
Delegates from more than 50 countries and international organisations will discuss ways to manage its security, justice and public finance.
The Islamist movement, al-Shabab, still controls large areas of Somalia and the regions of Somaliland and Puntland have refused to attend the summit.
Mr Cameron insists it can still make progress.
