Help for Heroes Paris-London bike ride 'more poignant'

More than three hundred cyclists, including thirty injured servicemen, have set off from Paris on a bike ride to London to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes.

The six-day challenge was arranged before the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich last week.

Former RAF serviceman and Paralympic cyclist Jon-Allan Butterworth is one of those taking part in the ride.

Speaking to the BBC's Maddy Savage in Paris before the race, he said that the recent events in London means that the reasons for taking part are even more poignant.
