Georgia Williams 'a great girl' says father

A man charged with the murder of teenager Georgia Williams has been remanded in custody by magistrates.

Police have not confirmed if a girl's body found in woodland near Wrexham on Friday is that of the 17-year-old student from Wellington, Shropshire.

Jamie Reynolds, 22, from Avondale Road, Wellington, appeared before Telford magistrates and is due at Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday.

Speaking at Telford United's stadium, Georgia's father Steven, paid tribute to his daughter, describing her as "a great girl".
