Sheep farms in Snowdonia recover after winter snow

The coldest March for 50 years caused serious problems for sheep farmers across Wales, with snow and ice forcing many to the brink of ruin.

Hill farmer Gareth Wyn Jones found and dug out 70 ewes which had become buried in snow.

More than 100 sheep died and around the same number of mountain ponies were lost.

John Maguire reports from Snowdonia, finding out how farmers are coping now the snow has cleared.
