The man with a 'sea monster' named after him

A man from Dorset who found the fossil of what is thought to be most powerful creature ever - has had it officially named after him.

Kevan Sheehan spotted the bones of the pliosaurus on a beach in Weymouth and spent five years unearthing its jaw bones and teeth.

Now it has been named Pliosaurus Kevani in his honour.
