Which? calls for government to crack down on cold calls

Millions of people have signed up to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) in order to stop receiving direct marketing, or cold calls.

However, a new report by the consumer group Which? has revealed that people who have signed up to the scheme still get an average of 10 nuisance calls per month.

Which? is calling on the government to crack down on companies who choose the method to target potential customers.

Jenny Driscoll from Which and Mike Lordan from the Direct Marketing Association spoke to BBC Breakfast.
