Archbishop of York: Tax avoidance is 'sinful'

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, has said that the tax affairs of some multinational corporations are 'sinful.'

He was speaking ahead of the G8 summit, in which world leaders will discuss the global economy and plans to crack down on corporate tax avoidance.

Dr Sentamu told BBC Radio 5 live's John Pienaar "they should have a conscience which says that a child is dying tonight because of their actions."
