Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall expecting first baby

The Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips and rugby player Mike Tindall are expecting their first baby in the new year, Buckingham Palace has said.

The couple married at Canongate Kirk, in Scotland, in July 2011.

The birth will follow the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby, which is due in the coming days.
