Internet crime: 'I knew I hadn't used the card'

The UK must do more to stop online fraud and deter state-sponsored cyber-espionage or risk losing the fight against e-crime, a group of MPs has warned.

In its first ever report on the subject, the Home Affairs Select Committee has called for more officers to be trained in digital crime detection and for e-crime specialists protected from cuts.

David Edmundson-Bird, principal lecturer in digital marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, describes his experience as a victim of e-crime.
