Michelin starred chef cooks up 'delicious' insect menu
How would you fancy a nice warm bowl of mushroom and mealworm soup? Or candied locust and mango sorbet?
Both are among dishes on Michelin starred chef Peter Gorton's latest menu, which features creepy crawlies in every course.
Peter devised the menu after living in countries where insects are a staple ingredient. The chef believes they will catch on once people realise how "delicious" they can be.
He told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast, "It wasn't long ago that with sushi, people would think 'I'm not eating raw fish,' and that was only 25 years ago."
