Lord Sebastian Coe on 'close' Olympic contest

Tokyo is to host the 2020 Olympic Games, after beating Istanbul and Madrid for the right to host the summer event, and the Paralympics.

IOC President Jacques Rogge made the announcement at a ceremony in Buenos Aires.

Chairman of the British Olympic Committee, Lord Coe, said it was a close contest,

"I think that this has been one of the tightest fought races, and they're three very very good cities,'' he told Radio 5 Live.
