Hillsborough families: 'How much longer is it going to take?'

Members of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign and relatives of people who died in the disaster have criticised what they see as a lack of progress by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and other bodies investigating what happened.

A year after the Hillsborough Independent Panel found that 164 police statements had been altered, the IPCC has said that fans' statements and a further 74 police officers' statements "may have been altered".

The IPCC is examining police conduct in the aftermath of the 1989 disaster, which killed 96 people.

At a news conference on Wednesday, which had been organised before the latest information from the IPCC was made public, campaigners again called for further independent scrutiny.
