Quarter of young people 'don't trust Muslims'

A BBC poll commissioned in the wake of the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby in Woolwich suggests that a quarter of 18 to 24 year olds do not trust Muslims.

A third of those polled also think that the country would be better off with fewer Muslims in the UK.

The poll comes as a group formed by the government to tackle Islamaphobia says that a growing number of people are prejudiced towards Muslims.
