Asda and Tesco withdraw 'mental' patient outfits

Supermarket chains Tesco and Asda have withdrawn Halloween outfits from sale after widespread criticism, including from a mental health charity.

Asda's "mental patient fancy dress costume" is no longer available and Tesco has removed its "psycho ward" costume.

Both stores have apologised and Asda has promised a £25,000 donation to mental health charity Mind.
