Army pipers and drummers honoured with Edinburgh statue

A eight-foot bronze statue commemorating the bravery of hundreds of pipers and drummers who lost their lives in conflict will be officially unveiled on Sunday.

Created by Scottish sculptor Alan Heriot, the huge Army piper has been installed outside the Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming at Edinburgh's Redford Barracks.

Cameron Buttle reports.
