Rural fuel: Discount scheme could be extended

A fuel discount scheme in rural parts of Scotland could be extended to 10 further towns in England and Scotland.

The UK has applied to the European Commission for a 5p a litre reduction in fuel duty in areas including Hawes in North Yorkshire.
