A look back at Concorde's history

It is 10 years since Concorde took to the skies for its final journey.

British Airways retired the world's only supersonic commercial airliner because it was no longer profitable.

Its last transatlantic flight, on this day in 2003, carried celebrities from New York to Heathrow marking the end of three decades of supersonic travel.
