Jack Straw: 'It's the right moment to go'
Jack Straw has said the next general election "is the right moment" for him to stand down as MP for Blackburn.
The former Labour home and foreign secretary, who will be 69 in May 2015, said he feared his age would hinder his ability to serve his constituency.
He told the BBC: "I've decided to hang up my spurs as a member of Parliament but not as someone committed to this town."
