Boris Johnson 'not convinced' by HGV ban idea
London Mayor Boris Johnson has said he is not convinced that restricting the times lorries can operate on the capital's roads will make them any safer.
Speaking to Vanessa Feltz on BBC London 94.9, he said there had to be a "much bigger conversation about HGVs" and the dangers they pose.
But he said imposing a peak ban risked damaging London companies and creating a "serious influx as soon as the ban is over".
