The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Broadcaster Lynn Faulds-Wood and James Lyons, deputy political editor of the Daily Mirror, reviewed the papers for the BBC News Channel.

They began by looking at Prime Minister David Cameron's plans, reported by the Times, to address fears about the potential number of migrants entering the UK from Romania and Bulgaria.

They also examine the prospects for Scottish independence, in light of reports on First Minister Alex Salmond's "mission statement" for his country, and the re-emergence of Westminster's "plebgate" row.
