The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Heather Walker, editor of UK-based expatriate community newspaper the South African, and Daily Telegraph media writer Neil Midgley reviewed Wednesday's papers for the BBC News Channel.

They began by looking at coverage of the memorial event for former South African President Nelson Mandela, including the front-page photographs of US President Barack Obama appearing in a "selfie" with the Danish prime minister and David Cameron.

They then discussed the Daily Telegraph's lead about hopes for a new scan to help diagnose dementia, and the Times's main story about the government's climate change adviser giving his support to shale gas fracking.
