UK storm: 'Severe damage to parts of network'

Tim Field from the Energy Networks Association said repairs were being hampered by flooded and blocked roads - and there was "severe damage to parts of the network."

He thanked people for their patience, but warned it was likely many would be without power until at least Boxing Day.
