Five British Greenpeace activists and one Canadian have left Russia after being granted an amnesty from charges over an Arctic oil drilling protest.

Kieron Bryan, one of the six, spoke to the BBC just before boarding his plane and said: "It was a shame we missed Christmas but I know that I am going to be in the UK to start 2014 which is just such a wonderful feeling."
