National Archives files show 'how busy modern PM is'
Government files from 1984 reveal "just how incredibly busy a modern prime minister is," Mark Dunton of the National Archives has said.
He told the BBC the papers showed she knew there was little the government could do about the murderer of WPC Yvonne Fletcher in the violence outside the Libyan Embassy.
But they also reveal how many appointments she had - and that she had to schedule in time for "breakfast with Mr T" and a Boxing Day walk with her daughter Carol.
