Lord McAlpine dies: Colleague pays tribute to 'kind' man

Tributes have been paid to former UK Conservative Party deputy chairman Lord McAlpine, who has died.

Lord Tim Bell, who was a former adviser to Margaret Thatcher, said the 71-year-old was generous, kind and "incredibly important to the Thatcher government".
