Tewkesbury: Battle to save historic War of the Roses site

More than 500 years ago, a field on the outskirts of Tewkesbury was the scene of one of the bloodiest battles between the Houses of York and Lancaster in the War of the Roses.

The land, known as the Gastons, was the subject of a public inquiry more than a decade ago when developers wanted to build houses there.

Now its owners have put the land up for sale and local people say they face another battle to save it.

Sian Lloyd reports.
