Bob Crow calls to Boris Johnson during radio phone in show

RMT union leader Bob Crow and London Mayor Boris Johnson have discussed a planned strike by London Underground workers during a radio phone-in, in what is thought to be their first conversation in years.

Union members are due to walk out for 48 hours in a dispute over ticket office closures.

Calling the mayor during his show on London's LBC radio, Bob Crow urged Mr Johnson to suspend the job cuts.
