UK storms: Rail passenger on struggle to get home

Rail passenger Ian Tully, from Liverpool, tells the BBC how he has been trying to get home from Northampton since four o'clock on Wednesday afternoon.

Speaking on Thursday morning, Mr Tully said there had been no clear information from the rail companies and this had made him angry and frustrated.

On Thursday, train services in parts of the UK were cancelled and some roads closed because of strong winds.
