Timelapse video reveals Dawlish rail work

Teams of engineers from Network Rail have been working around the clock to repair the coastal railway at Dawlish which was badly damaged in storms.

All trains to and from Plymouth via Dawlish were suspended after high seas washed away the embankment leaving the tracks hanging in the air.

These mute pictures were taken between Tuesday 11 February and Thursday 13 February.
