UK floods: 'Waves were crashing over the hotel'

High winds and huge waves are battering the south coast of England as widespread flooding continues.

"Severe" flood warnings have been issued for many stretches of the coast from Cornwall to Hampshire.

The Lugger Hotel in Penzance overlooks the promenade - and as hotel manager Steve Cock told the BBC, the waves were crashing over the hotel itself earlier on Friday.
